The purpose of year 2 Fall seminar is for students to develop capstone projects, review industry articles, discuss emerging trends in HCI, and prepare to enter the field upon graduation. The main objective of this seminar was to address capstone projects and residencies and meet our new advisors. Expectations for the capstone project proposal were reviewed and we learned how to incorporate our residency experiences into our capstone projects, with the capstone project approval form and proposal due at next month's meeting. Other points of discussion included the 2nd year industry article review assignment and portfolio.
