DECEMBER 19 & 21, 2018
This week’s work was focused on compiling data for the non-formulary DME equipment ordered as same day for the year of 2018. We analyzed data utilizing Cerner EHRS and the DME online tracking tool to verify if receipts of all equipment were correct. We also checked the orders to determine if they were correctly/appropriately ordered as same-day or as non-formulary. So far, most orders are appropriate as same-day however none are appropriate as non-formulary. All findings were added to the Excel spreadsheet.
